How To Sew A Cushion Cover
cushion cover fox sewing kits tutorial

You want to make a cushion cover and don't know where to start, I'm here to help. It's a great project if you want to give sewing a try and you end up with a cushion cover you can use.
I'm using one of my new cushion sewing kits as an example for this tutorial. They are a printed panel so a great starting point but you can use your pre-selected fabric instead.
I sewed it by hand but you can use a sewing machine.
The cushion cover fits a (37cm x 37cm) cushion insert/pad.

French Knots! Love them or hate them?

French knots do you love them or hate them?
I don't have any strong feelings about them but I do feel that they can create a really nice effect on an embroidery design and I do use them regularly in my embroidery kits and patterns.
Christmas Embroidery Sampler Experiments

I decided this week to create a new Christmas embroidery sampler. Here is the design in four different colours. I've gone with more traditional colours and some modern ones too. The blue, pinks and purples will look great with our tree and decorations.
The sampler will include 11 different stitches to learn. Can't wait to print these and give them a go!
